My Story

I am grateful for both the good and bad experiences life has thrown at me as there has been a lesson in every situation.

Practising daily gratitude is just one of the things that has helped me become unstuck.
I have 34 years’ experience of working for a government organisation which has taught me great coaching and people skills. As much as I loved my job, I hit a roadblock when I took up a challenging management role in 2016. Being an empath did not help. I noticed I would latch onto other people’s negative energies. There were good days but just as many bad.
I had to go through the ropes of being a people pleaser and working unearthly hours. I kept telling myself I can do this job but the emotions were overwhelming. Everything I was suppressing started to manifest into my body. I felt jittery and my anxiety level had heightened causing countless sleepless nights. This led to food addiction and depression. You see the management role had served its purpose for me and now my soul was trying to say something. It is so important to do what makes your soul happy. I knew something had to change. Those experiences and emotions led me to enrol on to various courses with an amazing spiritual teacher who has taught me various processes and modalities that confirmed we have the power to heal ourselves! I learnt how to be more grounded and protected. I meditated and connected to my higher self for all of the answers.

Now here I am helping people to see the light from within. My soul is excited and feeling happy that I am now living my true purpose and mission.

During 2018 to March 2020 I carried out voluntary work in a Nursing Home as a Well Being Assistant. I really enjoyed talking to the residents. I carried out lots of fun activities with the residents such as yoga, singing, table tennis and nail painting. These activities helped to light up their faces, it felt so good to make them feel happy and to be of service. What I learnt is that it is important to do things that make you  feel good. I also learnt from the residents that when you do fun and creative things it makes your life healthier and live longer. It felt really good to shine my light.

Many of my friends, excolleagues and family say I am a real positive person. Trust me, I am not always positive. We are only human at the end of the day. It’s impossible to be 100% positive all the time. It is okay to have a negative thought, there has to be a balance, like Yin and Yang.  You just need to learn how to flip the negative thought so that it does not take over your mind. What life has taught me over the years is that there is always a positive in a negative situation.
